Our best family vacation ever

My experience from start to finish was terrific. Rene is quick to respond and very accommodating. The manager, Hector, is professional and so helpful. The house is as it is represented in the description, but better. The bedrooms are large and well appointed. The bathrooms are deluxe and luxurious. The living/dining/kitchen area has plenty of seating and places for everyone to eat. The patio off of the upstairs master is tremendous.The house has towels, chairs and other beach amenities to make your stay comfortable. I read about security issues in a few other reviews. I experienced nothing of the sort and felt very comfortable day and night. Of course, we used common sense and followed the guidelines of security that anyone can read with the slightest bit of research about travel. For sure, you need to rent a nice jeep and venture off the main roads to explore the island. Our favorite restaurant is Coqui Fire. Check the hours, you'll want to go more than once! We used Colon Vieques Horse Riding tours and had an amazing time. I will be back to Vieques. If I am with a group of any kind, we will contact Rene for a stay at Martineau Belle Playa.. Maybe someday he'll sell me the house!
