Relaxing Oasis

We had an amazing time at Martineau Belle Playa. Everything that we needed was right there at the property. With kids it is great to have access to a beach and to a pool within the same locale. The villa is beautiful, is well maintained, and both the owner Rene and the property manager Hector made us feel right at home. There was nothing better than having a cup of coffee while getting the nice breeze outside and listening to the ocean waves. Everything in Vieques is relatively near by if you have a car and so we would go to one of the bakeries to get some nice bread and pastries to have with the coffee. With recommendations on daily times from Hector, we also got fresh lobster from the pescadería near the ferry and prepared it at the villa for an amazing dinner. We went out to check some of the other beaches, scuba dive, and eat but we really enjoyed being at the villa most of the time. Having the W hotel nearby is also excellent and was very convenient as we enjoyed great cocktails and lunch there after checking out of the villa. We definitely want to return to this amazing property!
